What Our Patients Say
This is a note of great thankfulness for your most capable hands, verbal aids, and everyone’s caring manner during my recent “hip-op” surgery and post-op…My walker aid is now a memory; my cane keeps getting lost in the house; I can actually stand noticeably straight; my bruise colors are fading daily; my swelling on leg is reduced daily…I can truthfully say if I’d ever need another part replaced, I’d be back to see you.
Cutting Edge, Minimally-Invasive Hip Treatment
Our practice treats most disorders of the hip. We are particularly pleased to be one of the few orthopaedic offices in Northern California to offer an anterior approach to total hip replacement. Dr. Bollinger has trained with the originator of this technique, Dr. Joel Matta. Taking an anterior approach to hip replacement is much less invasive, offers faster recovery times and better results than traditional hip replacement. We have offered this procedure since 2006, and both we—and our patients—are excited and impressed with the results.
Learn more about anterior approach hip replacement:
In addition to our early adoption and expertise in hip joint replacement, we are also one of the only practices in the North Bay to offer hip arthroscopy, a procedure that allows a surgeon to insert a camera inside of a hip (via a small incisions) to see exactly what is taking place within the joint. The surgeon then inserts instruments to correct the problem via another small incision. Like the anterior approach hip replacement technique, this technique is more effective and less invasive than its traditional counterparts.
Here are some of the other hip conditions that we routinely treat:

- Osteonecrosis of the Hip
